Even with self-service, users will occasionally need helpdesk assistance – when forgetting answers to authentication questions or attempting remote password reset without first registering with MyPass, for example.

The MyPass Password Manager helpdesk client allows helpdesk agents to effectively pre-authenticate the user, assist in enrollment for password self-service, and even securely reset the user’s password, all without the operator having to:

  • Access confidential information about the user;
  • Access the target systems in which the user’s password needs to be reset; or
  • At any time see the password chosen by the end-user.
