Discover Account Function

In order for MyPass to reset a password for an end-user, specific Active Directory permissions are required. This includes the ability to read end-user information, group information as well as reset and change an end-user’s password. The following document dives in deeper into how to create an Active Directory service account as well as how to delegate it with the appropriate permissions.

Delegated permissions are granted for:

• Standard Active Directory User Accounts
• Administrative Active Directory User Accounts (optional)
