Version 4.5.0.24014
Release Date: Feb, 2024
MyPass Cloud major update version 4.5.0.24014 includes many new features and fixes. Please note that the following applies to the Windows Client, Password Filter and Password Interceptor components.
Identity Verification
Added
- Added the ability to control what data is shown from Active Directory (AD) when listing users. It is possible to show common name (CN), Fullname, GivenName or Firstname + Lastname.
- The initial window identifying the calling user has been reimplemented using the same method behind the Highlight and Proofing sections. This enabled for more flexibility when engaging with different user groups or making different rules for different actions already at the initial engagement.
- Configuration import and export has been implemented and a few corrections has been added in terms of active/inactive categories and scenarios.
Fixed
- Fixed issue in Identity Proofing panel where the IdentityProofingStoreData method could be defining multiple timeouts if "busy".
- Fixed issue with double button set for users not having computer relations (dynamic HTML issue).
- Multitenant or MSP role has been implemented. This allows an MSP Organization in MyPass Cloud to be allowed to serve other MSP Client Organizations. The implementation is group based, allowing the MSP users group membership to decide what Client Organizations the user has access to.
- The session time where a session pin is necessary can now be changed and even removed (only advisable when a pre-auth setup is in place)
- Multiple settings have been implemented to control the options for a IVC user in an MSP environment. Who can the IVC user reassign a case to – when being a member of the Organization, being from the MSP Organization etc. By default, reassigning is allowed within the users Organization. (preventing an end-user Organizations IVC user to reassign to the MSP Organization)
- While proofing the user, quickly clicking the Continue button while the system awaits an SMS or Email generating resulted in a lost session. This is either prohibited or allowed depending on the necessity of the action.
- The number of necessary clicks has been reduced helping both ServiceDesk and end-user to an easier process.
- Minor improvement on navigation
- Cached ongoing searches was not cleared on Domain change.
Helpdesk Client Updates
Added/Fixed
- HelpDesk Pins and generated temporary passwords where accessible for other ServiceDesk users when opening a closed call. This has now been made only visible for the Agent carrying out the call and for only 1 hour.
- Resets were noted with the wrong Eventclass in the event database.
